Porters Mitre 10 Mackay City is located in the Mackay city heart on the corner of Brisbane & Gordon Streets, and trades 7 days a week.The flagship Mackay store was fully renovated and refurbished in 2017 to become a Mitre 10 Sapphire store after joining the Mitre 10 group that same year.
These changes allowed the Porters business to access new product ranges across the trade, retail and home improvement market to ensure we remain as a premier destination for our customers.
In July 2018, Porters Mitre 10 Mackay was awarded Hardware Store of the Year and Best Garden Centre in Queensland at industry awards hosted by Hardware Australia. The Hardware Australia awards ceremony is the premier event for the hardware industry, recognising excellence and achievement across the state. Stores are nominated from all over Queensland with judging based on business performance, strategy, training, innovation, customer service, marketing and community engagement.
